257  | 大唐卫州卫县故登仕郎高君墓志并序君讳德，字护师，其先渤海人也。昌源浩汗，泻□槛之曾澜；茂叶扶疏，拂金柯于＊汉。代袭璋之美，家傅台铉之盛。自兹以降，英华不泯。曾祖玮，齐封阳夏王；祖珍，隋任魏州刺史；父冲，隋任殷州司仓参军。唯君幼有风云之志，早怀高上之心，贵淡泊于珠玉，蔑荣利于糠比，兰□菊浦，睇想烟霞之辉；舞馆歌梁，韵清丝竹之响。虅花泛酒，陈筵降野鹤之宾；桂影临池，孔座萃人龙之友。加以廉财勇义，雪英霜华，玉藻飞词，银钩洒翰。岂期碛善无验，遘疾弥留，两楹之梦奄臻，二竖之灾俄及。至上元二年春二月八日，卒于家馆，春秋五十有五。即以其月十六日，与前夫人太原王氏合葬于州城北四里临清乡之礼也。嗣子恭礼等，岂期高天早坠，恨结绪于风枝；厚地无倾，痛糜心于寒笋。恐阴阳递进，陵谷迁移，碧海成桑，莫知疆陇。呜呼！乃为铭曰： |
