21  | 丙戌秋九月、粤东闻汀州之变，总督丁魁楚、巡抚瞿式耜等议奉上监国；太妃曰：『儿非治世才，何苦以一朝虚号，涂炭生民！南中、闽中可鉴也』。又告诸大臣曰：『诸臣何患无君，愿更择可者』！群臣固请，乃许之。十一月，闻赣州之变，上仓卒幸梧州。太妃呼省臣李用楫、台臣程源，诃其弃逃无固志；诸臣皆伏地引罪。上寻还肇庆。即位，上太妃尊号曰「慈宁皇太后」。 |
| 27 | 丁亥，上驻武冈；秋七月，我大清兵破宝庆，直趋奉天城下。锦衣卫指挥文安伯马吉翔奉太后及后斩关夜遯，由水道驰入蛮境；会天淫雨，宫女、内竖皆踉跄泥淖中，饥饿无人色，而后则夷然也。戊子春，驻南宁；闰三月，子慈烜生，后出；大赦。初，我大清兵攻桂林，后尝发内储银饷军；不足，则资以簪珥之属。留守大学士瞿式耜妻邵氏，亦出金珠为助；时谓中宫之贤有以召之也。及入安隆，土锉芦帘，几不蔽风雨；浣衣、粗食，倍历有生之厄。 |
