23  | 崇祯九年，迁副总兵，分管京卫管。十一年以禁军从总督熊文灿击贼于舞阳，鏖光、固间，最。八月又从击贼马光玉于淅川之吴村、王家寨，大破之。诏加太子太师，署总兵衔。十三年从太监卢九德破贼于板石畈，贼革里眼等五营降。十四年以总兵与王宪分护凤阳、泗州陵，得功驻定远。张献忠攻桐城，挟营将廖应登至城下诱降。得功与刘良佐合兵击之于鲍家岭，贼败遁，追至潜山，擒斩贼将闯世王马武、三鹞子王兴国。三鹞子，献忠养子，最号骁勇者也。得功箭伤面，愈自奋，与贼转战十馀日，所杀伤独多。明年移镇庐州。十七年封靖南伯。福王立江南，进封侯。旋命与刘良佐、刘泽清、高杰为四镇。 |
