21  | 唐侍陛，字赞宸，江苏江都人，巡抚绥祖孙。乾隆中，以荫生授南河山盱通判。历任宿虹、铜沛、里河、外河同知。以治河绩考最，擢湖北郧阳知府，母忧去官。四十七年，服阕，会河决青龙冈，屡筑屡圮，大学士阿桂督治，以侍陛习河事，疏调赴工。阿桂方与总河议改河之策，决计于侍陛，侍陛曰：「今全河下注，非土埽所能当；欲逆挽归正道，难矣。但于南岸上游百里外开引河，则不与急流争，其全势易掣。以逸待劳，此上策也。」于是定计开兰阳引河，至商丘归正河，以侍陛总其事。工成，被诏嘉奖。 |
