1  | 明徐有贞撰。有贞初名珵，字元玉，吴县人。宣德癸丑进士，官至兵部尚书，兼华盖殿大学士，封武功伯。寻下狱戍金齿，放归，久之乃卒。事迹具《明史》本传。有贞究心经济，于天官、地理、兵法、水利、阴阳、方术之书无不博览，惟倾险躁进，每欲以智数立功名。与石亨等倡议夺门，侥幸孤注之一掷，幸而得济，又怙权植党，威福自专，卒亦为人构陷。所谓君以此始，必以此终，实深为君子所诟病。祝允明为有贞外孙，所作《苏谈》，往往回护，其词究不足以夺公论也。然其干略本长，见闻亦博。故其文奇气坌涌，而学问复足以济其辨。 |
