《提要》
4  | 臣等谨案：《朝鲜史略》十二卷，一名《东国史略》不著撰人名氏，乃明时朝鲜人所纪其国治乱兴废之事。始于檀君，终于高丽恭让王王瑶。自新罗朴氏以前稍略，而高丽王建以后则皆编年纪载，事迹颇具。其称李成桂、李芳逺为太祖、太宗，乃其臣子之词。又间附史臣论断及《厯年图》等书，葢郑麟趾《高丽史》仿纪传之体，而此则仿编年之体者，故其国中两行之。钱曽《读书敏求记》以其于王氏遗臣郑梦周等欲害李成桂事，不没其实，称为良史。今观其序事，详略虽不能尽合体要，而裒辑遗闻，颇为赅具。读列史《外国传》者，亦可以资参考焉。书末有万历庚戌赵琦美跋，称借录于冯仲缨家。盖当倭陷朝鲜，出师东援时所得之本也。 |
