1  | 太岳彭先生，少嗜博综，壮多制作，即驱车逰，宦解绶归田，或出或处，皆讽颂之，林以风以雨成捜罗之●，以故绪至繁而成统，物无一而不该，累嵗穷年，始竣斯集。然编纂虽勤，校讐未力，梦楹既逺，觿佩逾踈，每手斯篇，不胜喟叹。乃句章冯重夫先生雅好其书，每曰：希世之珍，非一隅之玩，鸾龙之采，岂奥窔之观。彭先生研精毕世，极力斯编，而藏不出缄縢，施不越里閈，是必如三十世初行《左传》五百嵗，始知子云乃慊于瞶瞶者哉？古人云：或藏之名山，或传之通邑、大都皆后死者之责也，子与其三薫而十袭之，曷如就金陵订正修全，令不径走四裔，而若杨子幼之为太史公阐绎者乎？且子既亟，亟为茂秦表章，而况先生托在戚懿，死而有知，其属望于子，又当何如邪？予有感于重夫先生之言，又实于先生有肺腑之义，于是力荷补修，务期完善，遂邀伯馨、伯韶诸内兄拮据数月，始睹成事，于以见彭氏子之多贤而并纪重夫先生赞成之力不浅也。如曰怀古之情，有生同抱，怜才之感贤豪特深，则髙山、景行俟诸同好，而小子不敏，何足以当之。时万厯己未，上元日，孙壻张幼学顿首手记于因笃楼。 |
