60  | 敬播，蒲州河东人也。贞观初，举进士。俄有诏诣秘书内省佐颜师古、孔颖达修《隋史》，寻授太子校书。史成，迁著作郎，兼修国史。与给事中许敬宗撰《高祖》、《太宗实录》，自创业至于贞观十四年，凡四十卷。奏之，赐物五百段。太宗之破高丽，名所战六山为驻跸，播谓人曰：「圣人者，与天地合德，山名驻跸，此盖以銮舆不复更东矣。」卒如所言。 |
| 63 | 永徽初，拜著作郎。与许敬宗等撰《西域图》。后历谏议大夫、给事中，并依旧兼修国史。又撰《太宗实录》，从贞观十五年至二十三年，为二十卷。奏之，赐帛三百段。后坐事出为越州都督府长史。龙朔三年，卒官。播又著《隋略》二十卷。 |
