29  | 铎有经世大志，以安邦为己任，士友推之。乾符二年，河南、江左相继寇盗结集，内官田令孜素闻铎名，乃复召铎，拜右仆射、门下侍郎、同平章事。四年，贼陷江陵，杨知温失守，宋威破贼失策。朝议统率，宰相卢携称高骈累立战功，宜付军柄，物议未允。铎廷奏曰：「臣忝宰执之长，在朝不足分陛下之忧。臣愿自率诸军，荡涤群盗。」朝议然之。五年，以铎守司徒、门下侍郎、同平章事，兼江陵尹、荆南节度使，充诸道行营兵马都统。铎至镇，绥怀流散，完葺军戎，期年之间，武备严整。 |
