6  | 之浅深，其于名为道家之言，便写取累箱盈筐，尽心思索其中，是探燕巢而凤卵，搜井底而捕鳝鱼，虽加至功，非其所有也，不得必可施用，无故消弃日月，空有疲困之劳，了无淄铢之益也。进失当世之务，退无长主之效，则莫不指点之曰，彼修道如此之勤，而不得度世，是天下果无不死之法也；而不知彼之求仙，犹临河羡鱼，而无网罟，非河中之无鱼也。又五千文虽出老子，然皆泛论较略耳。其中了不肯首尾全举其事，有可承按者也。但暗诵此经，而不得要道，直为徒劳耳，又况不及者乎？至于文子、庄子、关令尹喜之徒，其属文笔，虽祖述黄老，宪章玄虚，演其大旨，永无至言。或复其生死，谓无异以存活为徭役，以殂殁为休息，其去神仙已千亿里矣，岂足躭玩哉？其寓言譬喻，犹有可采，以供给碎用，充御卒乏，至使末世利口之奸佞，无行之弊子，得以老庄为窟薮，不亦惜哉。 |
