4  | 《史记注》：天子赐姓命氏、诸侯命、族、族者，氏之别名也。姓者，所以统系百世，使不相别也。氏者，所以别子孙之所自出，故世本之篇言姓则在上，言氏则在下。又《通志》：三代之前，姓氏分而为二，男子称氏，妇人称姓氏，所以别贵贱，故贵者有氏，贱者有名。无氏姓所以别婚姻，故有同姓、异姓、庶姓之别。三代之后，姓氏合而为一。于文，女生为姓，故姓之赐，多从女姬、姜、嬴、姒、姚、嬀、姞妘、婤、姶、㚰、嫪之类是也。一说大抵姓可呼为氏氏，不可呼为姓。 |
