121  |  〔砥〕柔石也柔石石之精细者郑注禹贡曰厉摩刀刃石也精者曰砥尚书大传其桷天子斫其材而砻之加密石焉注曰砻厉之也密石砥之也按砥者砥之正字后人乃谓砥为正字砥与砥异用强为分别之过也砥之引伸之义为致也至也平也有假借耆字为之者如周颂耆定尔功传曰耆致也是也从厂氐声职雉切十五部按此字从氐声俗从氏误也古音氏声在十六部氐声在十五部不容稍误唐以来知此者鲜矣五经文字石刻譌作𠨿少一画不可从顾亭林与潘次耕书分别𠨿砥不同义不知古无从氏之𠨿砥与底争首笔之有无末笔则从同也砥与底音义均别广部详之 〔砥〕砥或从石今字用此而砥之本义废矣毛诗大东周道如砥孟子作砥 |
