31  | 十二月，胡公林翼由黄州拔营进军英山，公弟贞干从之。公调派前帮十营，以朱品隆、李榕总领之，进驻太湖县，派委彭山屺总理营务处。公与营官讲求坚垒浚濠之法，濠深丈有五尺，躬亲巡视量度，虽风雪不避也。是月公弟国潢、国荃迁葬星冈公王太夫人于大界新茔。江西巡抚耆龄公调任广东。公乃作《毕君殉难碑记》，刻石立于景德镇毕刚毅公阵亡之处。是岁，和春公奏劾德兴阿罢职，江北大营不复置帅，诏和春兼辖之。周武壮公天培阵亡于浦口。胜保丁忧，陈请回京穿孝。以袁甲三为钦差大臣，与南河总督庚长督办军务，攻克临淮关。袁公驻守之。 |
