150  | 九月十七日，钦派顺天乡试复试阅卷大臣。十月初四日，钦派顺天武乡试较射大臣。武乡试分四围，王大臣分较。公所较中式者五十二名。二十六日，率同乡京官具摺谢恩，为水灾奉旨蠲缓钱粮。是岁东南各省大水，民饥，江南、浙江、湖北均展期，九月举行乡试。湖南贼匪李沅发倡乱于新宁，戕官据城，分扰黔、粤边境，粤逆亦从此萌芽矣。先是，江公忠源在籍，擒获会匪雷再浩，遂以知县拣发浙江署秀水县事，办理赈灾及保甲，甚得民誉。公闻新宁之乱，恐匪党寻仇及江公之家，遂致书江公，劝其弃官以赴家难。未几而贼党溃窜，江公家亦无损焉。 |
