22  | 即日悬赏勒限缉拿凶犯。二十六日，奉上谕：「该督到津后，统筹全局，次第办理，其中委曲求全万不得已之苦衷，在稍达事理者，自无不谅。刻下府县一层，坚持定见，当可就我范围，如能将为首滋事及下手之人严拿务获，讯取确供，按律议抵，大局似可粗定。」钦此。二十七日，张光藻到案。三十日，公与毛公会奏已革天津府、县到津日期一摺。奏称：该员六月十六日撤任，即行请假，臣见其本无大过，故允其所请。其后奉到谕旨，即飞檄催提，目下均已到案。顷接总理衙门来信云，有法国照会，言及该府县主使证据，现饬同文馆翻译，应俟译文寄津，按照所指情节，逐一质讯，再行取具亲供，录送核办。至查拿凶犯，现已获三十七名，仍严饬尽数弋获，从严惩办，以杜外患。 |
