55  | 三月辛未朔，命翰林儒臣修《女戒》。太祖谓学士朱升等曰：「治天下者，修身为本，正家为先。正家之道，始于谨夫妇。后妃虽母仪天下，然不可使干政事。至于嫔嫱之属，不过备职事、侍巾栉。若宠之太过，则骄恣犯分，上下失序，故历代宫阃，政由内出，鲜有不为祸乱者也。夫内嬖惑人，甚于鸩毒，惟贤明之主能察之于未然，其他未有不为所惑者。卿等为我纂述《女戒》及古贤妃之事可为法者，使后世子孙知所持守。」 |
