延载元年腊月甲戌，突厥默啜寇灵州。右鹰扬卫大将军李多祚败之。一月甲午，娄师德为河源、积石、怀远等军营田大使。二月庚午，薛怀义为伐逆道行军大总管，领十八将军以击默啜。乙亥，以旱虑囚。己卯，武威道大总管王孝杰及吐蕃战于冷泉，败之。三月甲申，凤阁舍人苏味道为凤阁侍郎、同凤阁鸾台平章事，李昭德检校内史。薛怀义为朔方道行军大总管，击默啜。昭德为朔方道行军长史，味道为司马。四月壬戌，常州地震。五月甲午，加号越古金轮圣神皇帝，大赦，改元，赐酺七日。七月癸未，嵩岳山人武什方为正谏大夫、同凤阁鸾台平章事。八月，什方罢。戊辰，王孝杰为瀚海道行军总管。己巳，司宾少卿姚璹守纳言；左肃政台御史大夫杨再思为鸾台侍郎，洛州司马杜景佺检校凤阁侍郎：同凤阁鸾台平章事。戊寅，流崔元综于振州。九月壬午朔，日有食之。壬寅，贬李昭德为南宾尉。十月壬申，文昌右丞李元素为凤阁侍郎，右肃政台御史中丞周允元检校凤阁侍郎：同凤阁鸾台平章事。岭南獠寇边，容州都督张玄遇为桂、永等州经略大使。癸酉，雨木冰。
