| 24 | 应，字从众，以荫为著作郎。贞元初，出为虔州刺史，诏嗣父封。凿赣石梗险以通舟道。德宗时，李泌为相，号得君。帝尝曰：「谁于卿有恩者，朕能报之。」泌乃言：「「曩为元载所疾，谪江西，路嗣恭与载厚，臣尝畏之。会与其子应并驱，马啮其胫，臣惶恐不自安，应閟不言，勉起见父。臣常愧其长者，思有以报。」帝曰：「善。」即日加应检校屯田郎中，服金紫。累迁宣歙池观察使，封襄阳郡王。李锜反，应发乡兵救湖、常二州，以故锜不能拔。元和六年，以疾授左散骑常侍，卒，谥曰靖。 |
