《三藩纪事本末卷一》

唐王名聿键，端王硕熿孙；父器墭，先死。聿键于崇祯五年嗣立，因率兵勤王，擅离南阳，锢高墙。会赦，出。南都勿守，总兵郑彩、郑鸿逵撤师回闽；适王自河南来，因奉之至福州，与福建巡抚张肯堂、巡按御史吴春枝、在籍礼部尚书黄道周、南安伯郑芝龙等会议，立王监国。鸿逵请正位，不然无以压众心；诸臣以监国名正，候出关建号未迟，李长倩有「急出关、缓正位、亦监国无富天下心」一疏。而拥立者艳推戴功，不数日即定议，僭即位于福州。时顺治乙酉闰六月十五日也。改福州为天兴府，以布政司署为行宫；大赦，僭改元隆武。

以张肯堂为吏部尚书、李长倩为户部尚书、曹学佺为礼部尚书、吴春枝为兵部尚书、周应期为刑部尚书、郑瑄为工部尚书。八闽俱设巡抚。
