十一年春正月丙寅朔，帝大渐。癸酉，崩于玉德默。在位十有三年，年四十有二。乙亥，葬起辇谷。九月壬申，上尊谥曰钦明广孝皇帝，庙号成宗，国语曰完泽笃皇帝。

九月甲子，车驾至自上都。时巡狩三不剌，翰林学士王文用谏曰：「先帝新弃天下，陛下巡狩不能时，无以慰臣民望，宜早还。」帝即日还大都。乙丑，中书右丞相塔刺海摄太尉，请皇考皇帝、大行皇帝尊谥于南郊。辛未，加塔刺海、塔思不花太尉。壬申，塔刺海奉册宝，上皇考极大行皇帝尊谥、庙号，又上大行皇帝元妃宏吉刺氏尊谥，袝于太庙。甲戌，改太常寺为太常礼仪院。丁丑，定中书省官为十二员：右丞相塔剌海，左丞相塔思不花，平章政事床兀儿、乞台普济如故，阿沙不花、塔失海牙为平章政事，勃罗答失、刘正为古丞，郝天挺、也先帖木儿为左丞，于璋、兀伯都刺为参知政事。甲申，立尚书首。塔剌海、塔思不花仍领中书省，脱虎脱、教化、法鲁忽丁任尚书省。命自举官属。丙戌，中书平茸政事别不花出为江浙行省平章政事。辛卯，御史台臣谏立尚书省，帝曰：「卿言良是，脱虎脱、教化、法鲁忽丁此三臣原任其事，姑听之。」
