晋天福六年二月敕：「有唐远自高祖，下暨明宗，纪传未分，书志咸阙。今耳目相接，尚可询求，若岁月寖深，何由寻访？宜令户部侍郎张昭、起居郎贾纬、秘书少监赵熙、吏部郎中郑受益、左司员外郎李为先等修撰唐史。仍令宰臣赵莹监修。」其年四月，监修国史赵莹奏：「奉敕同撰唐史起居郎贾纬丁忧，请以刑部侍郎吕琦、侍御史尹拙同修。」从之。寻改吕琦为户部侍郎、尹拙为户部员外郎，令与张昭等修唐史。其年四月，监修国史赵莹奏：

周广顺三年正月，户部侍郎、权知贡举赵上交奏：「进士元试诗赋各一首，帖经二十帖，对义五道。今欲罢帖经、对义，别试杂文二首，试策一道。」从之。至其年八月，刑部侍郎、权知贡举徐台符奏：「请试杂文二首外，其帖经、对义，亦依元格。」从之。

周广顺三年正月，户部侍郎、权知贡举赵上交奏：「童子凡念书二十四道，今欲添念书，通前五十道。念及三十道者放及第。」从之。

周广顺三年正月，户部侍郎、权知贡举赵上交奏：「明法元帖律令各十五帖，对义二十道。今欲罢帖律令，试墨义六十道。」从之。至其年八月，刑部侍郎、权知贡举徐台符奏：「却准元格帖律令各十五帖，对墨义二十道。」从之。

三年正月，户部侍郎、权知贡举赵上交奏：「九经举人元帖经一百二十道，墨义二十道，今欲罢帖经，于诸经墨义对一百五十道。五经元帖经八十，帖墨义二十道，今欲罢帖经，令对墨义一百道。学究原念书二十道，对义五十道。」从之。至其年八月，刑部侍郎、权知贡举徐台符又奏：「九经请都对墨义六十道，其帖经对策，依元格。五经亦请对墨义六十道，帖经对策依元格。」从之。
