53  | 我群后暨众士，维文皇帝以襁褓之嗣托于予，训之诲之，庶厥有成。而予罔能弗变厥心，庸暨乎废坠我文皇帝之志。呜呼！兹咎予其焉避？予实知之，矧尔众人之心哉。惟予之颜，岂惟今厚，将恐来世，以予为口实。」乙亥，魏帝诏封帝子邕为辅城公，宪为安城公。七月，西狩至原州。梁元帝遣使请据旧图以定疆界；又连结于齐，言辞悖慢。帝曰：「古人有言，天之所弃，谁能兴之，其萧绎之谓乎。」十月壬戌，遣柱国于谨、中山公护与大将军杨忠、韦孝宽等步骑五万讨之。十一月癸未，师济汉，中山公护与杨忠率锐骑先屯其城下。丙申，于谨至江陵，列营围守。辛亥，克其城，戕梁元帝，虏其百官士庶以归，没为奴婢者十馀万，免者二百馀家。立萧察为梁主，居江陵，为魏附庸。魏氏之初，统国三十六，大姓九十九，后多绝灭。 |
