8  | 废太子瑛，𤣥宗第二子，本名嗣谦，景云元年九月二日封真定郡王，先天元年八月十一日，进封郢王，开元二年十二月十七日，册为皇太子。十三年三月十日改名鸿。二十三年七月，改名瑛。二十五年四月二十二日，废为庶人。初，二十三年将废，太子谋于宰臣张九龄曰：「太子，天下之本也，动之则摇人心。且太子之在东宫，未闻大恶。臣闻父子之道，天性也，有过父恕而掩之，无宜废絶。且其状未著，恐外人窥之，伤陛下慈父之道。寳应元年五月十九日勅，宜复旧封皇太子」。初，瑛母赵丽妃有才貌，善歌舞，𤣥宗在潞州，甚宠遇，及武惠妃宠幸，丽妃恩顾渐薄。时鄂王瑶母皇甫德仪、光王琚母刘才人，皆𤣥宗在临淄邸得幸。及惠妃、承恩、鄂光之母亦渐疎薄，于是瑛与鄂光自谓母氏失职，常有怨望，遂为李林甫及驸马杨回所诬。𤣥宗震怒，并废为庶人，俄又赐死。天下寃之后，惠妃屡见三庶人为祟。 |
