171  | 癸酉，左通议大夫、新知鄂州、荆湖北路安抚使王庶复显谟阁待制，赐银帛二百匹两。庶既老，愈通习天下事，前二日入对，首言今日之患，莫大于士风之委靡，愿振拔名节士以起其气，又论安危在修己，治乱在立政，成败在用人，帝韪其言。庶因请曰：「臣肝胆未尽吐也，愿赐臣间，时得缕陈于前。」帝乃燕见之，庶言益深，尝跪问曰：「陛下欲保江南，无所复事；如欲绍复大业，都荆为可。荆州左吴右蜀，利尽南海，前临江、汉，可出三川，涉大河，以图中原，曹操所以畏关羽也。」帝大异之。 |
