3  | 春正月庚戌朔，群臣上尊号册于大庆殿，太尉奉册授閤门使，转授内常侍，由垂拱殿以进。是日，大风霾。 |

| 5 | 丁巳，帝崩于福宁殿。太子即位，时年二十。百官入福宁殿发哀，听遗制，见上于东楹，皆如嘉佑之仪，惟入垂拱殿后门乃哭为异。 |
| 8 | 戊午，大赦，除常赦所不原者。百官进官一等，优赏诸军，悉如嘉佑故事，惟百官拜赦不舞蹈。舞蹈者，嘉佑之失也。 |
| 9 | 己未，尊皇太后为太皇太后，皇后为皇太后。以宰臣韩琦为山陵使。 |
