28  | 五月辛酉，置秘阁于崇文院，分三馆书万馀卷实其中。命吏部侍郎李至兼秘书监，帝谓至曰：「人君当淡然无欲，勿使嗜好形见于外，则奸佞无自人。朕无它好，但喜读书，多见古今成败，善者从之，不善者改之，如斯而已。」至等观书阁下，帝必遣使赐宴，且命三馆学士皆预焉。 |

| 30 | 朝廷数以敕书招谕李继迁，继迁终不肯降，益侵益边境。赵普建议，欲复委李继捧以夏台故地，令图之。继捧时为感德节度使，即召赴阙，壬申，授定难节度使，赐国姓，改名保忠，所管五州钱帛、刍粟、田园等并赐之。壬午，保忠辞之镇，锡赉甚厚，命右卫第二军都虞候王杲送之。及还，保忠以土物为赆，杲拒而不纳，帝知之，赐白金百两。 |
