25  | 初，赵立既至楚州，朝廷因以立知州事，会金右监军昌亲率数万人围城，攻其南壁，自为旗头，引出众战，相持四十馀日。己巳，金人以炮击三敌楼，遂登城。立先取生槐本为鹿角以槎其破处，而下修月城以裹之，月城之中，实以柴薪，城之内为熔炉。敌自月城中入，立命以金汁浇之，死者以百数。金人不能入，遂退守孙村大寨，时遣数百骑出汉于城下，以掠取求粮采薪者。由是城中人不能出，而薪粮日竭。 |
