九三，不恒其德或承之羞贞吝处三阳之中居下体之上处上体之下上不至尊下不至卑中不在体体在乎恒而分无所定无恒者也德行无恒自相违错不可致诘故或承之羞也施德于斯物莫之纳鄙贱甚矣故曰贞吝也。疏九三不恒其德或承之羞贞吝〇《正义》曰不恒其德或承之羞贞吝者九三居下体之上处上体之下虽处三阳之中又在不中之位上不全尊下不全卑执心不定德行无恒故曰不恒其德德旣无恒自相违错则为羞辱承之所羞非一故曰或承之羞也处久如斯正之所贱故曰贞吝也〇注处三阳之中至故曰贞吝也〇《正义》曰虽在三阳之中非一体之中也不可致诘者诘问也违错处多不足问其事理所以明其羞辱之深如《论语》云于予与何诛。
