周朝瑞，字思永，临清人。万歴丁未进士，授中书舎人。光宗立，擢吏科给事中。疏陈慎初三要语，多斥中贵奄寺。因激帝怒，贬秩调外。未出都，而熹宗即位，诏复故官。寻迁礼科左给事中。疏陈考选之弊，諌停日讲之诏，力驳请安选侍之奏，极发沈㴶贿交之奸。帝颇嘉许。而许大化等愤其丑诋，因构魏璫窜名汪文言。狱中诬朝瑞受熊廷弼万金，五日再讯，拷掠备至，竟毙之于狱。崇祯初，赠大理卿，予一子官。后追谥忠毅。
