孟一脉字淑孔，东阿人，家世邾城。自其曾祖详迁于阿之南谷，父存义为名诸生力田好学，未第一脉中。隆庆辛未进士，令平遥五载抚民劝垦积谷十万石不取，赎锾擢南道御史，因两宫上徽号，疏救，投荒之。邹元标等忤张居正夺职。居正死，起故官，弹劾守备张延不法，又疏陈五事，忤旨，谪建昌推官。歴南司农、尚宝丞，屡迁南京右通政，移疾归。复起佥都御史，巡抚南贑。殁赠副都御史
