葛镛字文振，为南京大理评事，外柔内严，审于谳狱，尝鞫盗，疑其寃，以白寺长，已而果获真盗。又有丐者薛、李二人，共强乱良人妇妇被辱自经，里人王亮奋义击杀之，吏逮捕，引伏辜，部皆允。及镛閲案，讶曰：「薛、李罪不容诛，亮为匹妇复雠，情可原也」。竟免亮死。他所辨雪，多类此。葛浩字天宏，上虞人。●治进士，累官广东左㕘政。为人慈祥恺悌，裁处繁剧，大惬人心。新寜盗起，用事者多杀降，浩获盗必多，方审验，淑慝详明，民多赖之。后浩官至大理寺卿，子木登进士第，人以为不杀之报云。
