45  | 曹豳，字西士，瑞安人，文肃公叔远族子也。少从钱白石学。登嘉泰二年进士第，授安吉州教授。调重庆府司法参军，郡守度正欲荐之，辞曰：「章司录母老，请先之。」正敬叹。改知建昌县，复故尚书李公择山房，建斋舍，以处诸生。擢秘书丞兼仓部郎官。出为浙西提举常平，面陈和籴折纳之敝；建虎丘书院，以祀尹和靖。移浙东提点刑狱，寒食放囚归祀其先，囚感泣，如期至。召为左司谏，与王万、郭磊卿、徐清叟俱负直声，当时号「嘉熙四谏」。上疏言：「立太子，厚伦纪，以弭火灾。」又论余天锡、李明复之过，迕旨，迁起居郎。进礼部侍郎，不拜，疏七上，进古诗以寓规正。久之，起知福州，再以侍郎召，为台臣所沮而止。遂守宝章阁待制致仕，卒，諡文恭。 |
