6  | 驾部郎中朱寿昌，巽之子也，其母刘氏，寿昌生二岁，巽守长安，出刘氏嫁民间，母子不相知者五十年。寿昌行四方，访求不获，饮食罕御酒肉，与人言輙流涕，以浮屠法灼臂烧顶刺，血冩佛书，冀遂其志，又弃官入秦，与家人诀，誓不见母，不复还，行次同州，得之，刘氏时年七十馀矣，知永兴钱明逸表其孝节，且言：「寿昌称疾寻医弃官而寻医法，须二年，乃赴御史台看验，乞不俟寻医限满，复其差遣」。癸亥，诏寿昌赴阙朝见。先是，言者共攻李定，不服母丧，王安石力主定，因忌寿昌，及寿昌至，但付审官院，寿昌前已再典郡，于是折资通判河中府，迎其同母弟妹以归。居数岁，母卒，泣涕几丧明白，乌集墓上，拊其弟妹益笃，为买田居之，其于宗族，尤尽恩意，嫁兄弟之孤女二人，葬其不能葬者十馀丧，盖其天性如此。甲子，诏罢遂州知州，任满，除提㸃刑狱指挥，依旧中书选差人。旧制，知遂州抚驭有方，边界宁静，代日除提㸃刑狱，至是罢之。 |
