5  | 嘉佑二年春正月癸未，翰林学士欧阳修权知贡举。先是，进士益相习于竒僻，钩章棘句，寖失浑淳，修深疾之，遂痛加裁抑，仍严禁挟书者。及试榜出，时所推誉，皆不在选，嚣薄之士，候修晨朝，羣聚诋斥之至，街司逻吏不能止。或为祭欧阳修文投其家，卒不能求其主名，置于法，然文体自是亦少变。 |
