20  | 戊戍，诏羣臣毋得上尊号，上谓辅臣曰：「比遇大礼，辄加徽号，岂称朕所以奉神昭孝之意？」文彦博等曰：「陛下严父以配上帝，则臣子亦有爱戴君父之心」。伏奏至于三四，上不从，彦博又以请，上固拒之，乃奉诏。己亥，诏祠明堂，宜尽物以遵典礼，自乗舆服御诸物，务令有司裁简之，分遣朝臣诣天下名山大川祠庙祈雨。庚子，契丹遣殿前副㸃检忠正节度使耶律益、彰德节度使赵柬之来告，伐夏国还，益自言契丹三路进讨，契丹主出中路，大㨗北路兵至西凉府，获羊百万、槖驼二十万、牛五百，俘老㓜甚衆，惟南路小失利，恐夏人妄说军胜，夸南朝，然得邉奏，皆以谓辽主济河，不遇贼无水，草马多死，耶律贯宁大败于师子口，惟刘五常获陜西所䧟属户羌二十馀人，因而来献，其言多俘获，盖妄也。 |
