41  | 辛巳，皇后郭氏崩。周悼献王，后所生也。王薨，后悲感生疾，遂不起。后性谦约，寛仁恵下，尤恶奢靡，族属入谒禁中，或服饰华侈，必加戒朂，有以家事求言于上者，后终不许。兄子出嫁，以贫欲祈恩赉，但出装具给之，上甞使观宜圣殿诸库，后辞曰：「国之寳库，非妇人所当入，陛下欲惠赐六宫，愿量颁之，妾不敢奉诏」。上尤加礼重焉。壬午，上谓辅臣曰：「皇后自东宫事朕，至正位中壼，小心逊顺，有内助之勤，降年不永，深所嗟悼」。因言：「后之二兄，皆年三十二而卒，今后亦至此，岂修短有数耶？」礼官奏皇帝七日释服，知枢宻院事王钦若请用朞周易月之制，十三日释服，宰相召崇文院检讨陈彭年，问其故事，彭年云：「唐徳宗皇后王氏崩，太常博士徐乾议周景王有后之䘮，既𦵏除服，准礼七月而𦵏，帝得以七日而除。又徳宗朝礼官栁冕等议：皇后为父母服十三月，其禀朝㫖，十三日而除㑹昌五年，武宗为恭宗母义安太后十三日释服，即无帝王为后朞周易月故事」。王旦等以闻，既而上谓王旦等曰：「七日释服，盖遵典礼，但隂阳有所避忌，湏至改易」。乃诏特用十三日释服。乙酉，上谓王旦等曰：「后崩合遣使赴告契丹否？」旦等曰：「命使赴告，或边臣録诏告之皆可」。上曰：「于礼宜有赴告，然每嵗命使，颇闻供亿勤至，今又専使，则自兹两国，凡有大故，各湏轺传交驰，益増烦扰矣」。乃诏边臣俟北境遣人询问，即録诏报之，仍谕此意。 有司言：「歴代皇后上仙，无服内不视事之文，唐徳宗王皇后成服日，于延英门接见藩臣，明服内听政，望百官释服后，皇帝视事于便殿，皇帝释服后，即复常仪。其攅殡及皇帝释服日，并请不视事」。从之。 |
