14  | 白瑜，字绍明，永平人。万历二十三年进士。选庶吉士，授兵科给事中。帝既册立东宫，上太后徽号，瑜请推广孝慈，以敦俭、持廉、惜人才、省冤狱四事进，皆引《祖训》及先朝事以规时政，辞甚切。三十年，京师旱，陜西河南黄河竭。礼官请修省，瑜言：「修省宜行实政。今逐臣久锢，累臣久羁，一蒙矜释，即可感格天心。」末言矿税之害。皆不报。 |
