丙寅，置丞相府官属，唐帝纪在十二月癸未，今从创业注。十二月，屈突通降。革命记：髙祖令诸将击通，通走出潼关，仍令通子夀随军唤父至稠桑追及之。夀告通云：「天下今既䘮亡，相王举义兵平定祸乱，大人须转祸为福，以自保全，单马轻身，将欲何往？」通叱夀云：「此贼何由可耐！引弓射之！夀招唤通兵士，竝悉放仗来降，夀乃驰走抱通，请大人屈节归义，通遂回首东南，两泪号哭，口称至尊，臣力屈以至于此，非臣敢亏名节，违背国恩，然始收泪赴军以见唐王」。今从唐书。唐裴矩传：「屈突通败，问至江都，炀帝问矩方略，矩曰：太原有变，京畿不静，遥为处分，恐失事机。唯銮舆早还，方可平定」。按隋失天下，皆因矩谄谀所至，岂敢辄劝帝西还！葢矩经事唐朝，其子孙及史管附益此语，欲葢其恶耳。今不取。
