141  | 李遂，字邦良，丰城人。嘉靖中，巡抚淮、扬。时倭寇扬州，屯白蒲，诸将请击之，遂曰：「贼气方鋭，骤攻之如小挫，事败矣」。及贼兵益进，遂曰：「贼过如臯，必合合，则道有三：自泰、扬逼天长、凤、泗则陵寝震惊。自黄桥逼瓜、仪，则摇南都而梗漕。若从富安而东，海滨斥，卤掠无所得，至庙湾灭之必矣。部分诸将，遏贼毋得逾天长瓜仪。贼果趋庙湾，遂调兵设覆待之，诸寇殱焉。以功迁兵部侍郎。 |
