173  | 杨守谦，字允亨，徐州人。父志学，字逊夫，𢎞治六年进士，巡抚大同、宣夏，边人爱之，卒諡康惠。守谦，嘉靖八年进士，授主事，厯郎中，督学陜西，所在有声，擢巡抚山西，又巡抚保定，督紫荆诸闗，去镇之日，士民号泣追送数百里外。俺答冦京城，守谦倍道入援，进兵部侍郎。时仇鸾观望丁汝䕫，亦戒勿轻战，遂坐失误，军机死，闻者无不流涕。守谦驭下有恩，居官亷，萧然若寒士。隆庆初，赠尚书，諡恪愍。张贞观，字惟诚，沛人。嘉靖十一年进士。官礼科都给事中，屡建言。后以皇长子出阁，不具礼，疏谏忤㫖家居。所著有《掖垣谏草》、《野心堂集》。 |
