七月丙寅，诏广西州县应阙官，毋得以白身借补人充摄。戊辰，臣僚奏：『乞宣示二三大臣，自今起复士大夫，必甚不得已出于特旨，监司、帅守不得陈乞。若州若县常程差遣倅令、幕属之类，搀辟吏部使阙。见以起复在任日、服内月日，并不许作实历。选人受举削，亦不得放散，已放散者，悉与驳正。』从之。辛未，臣寮言：『乞申饬有位，非休假不许出谒。或实有乾故，先申尚书省，方许出城。』从之。癸酉，新知常德府袁申儒朝辞，奏至州县重催税赋害民事，上曰：『民力甚贫，皆是州县不体爱民之意。卿到任，当以爱民为先。』辛巳，臣寮奏：『乞明诏户、刑部严行约束二广监司、郡守，用刑须遵法律，毋得轻视人命。漕司买银，须依时直，不得低价敷买。舶司每岁差官机察，就委逐州通判，不许吏卒越界追扰生事。』从之。
