十二月丙寅，太学博士刘应起进对，言：『大有为之君，常使近幸畏宰相。今宰相畏近幸；使宰相畏台谏、令台谏畏宰相。愿陛下官府事一以付之中书，而言官勿专用大臣所引，则权一归于公上矣。』上然之。丁丑，左司谏方来奏：『岳珂比以罢斥，乃卜第吴门，蔑弃君命。乞勿予祠，令归江州。』监察御史谢公旦又奏：『珂创增盐额，国课益亏。况作俑言利，乞重镌削。』诏更镌一秩。侍御史金渊奏彭大雅贪黩残忍，蜀人衔怨，罪大罚轻，乞更窜。诏除名、赣州居住。
