丁巳宝佑五年正月丁亥朔，御大庆殿受朝贺。诏戒饬群臣：『凡可以疏瀹弊源、剔除蠹穴、兴起天下之治者，其仪图之武，副朕内修外攘之志。』以赵葵为少保、宁远军节度使、京湖宣抚大使、判江陵府兼夔路策应大使，进封卫国公；贾似道知枢密院事，仍因任；吴渊参知政事，李曾伯湖南安抚大使、知潭州。辛卯，天基节，御垂拱殿，群臣上寿。上曰：『吴渊奏斡腹支径颇详。』元凤奏：『昨日准宣谕盐井、铧铁山等险隘已札蒲择之疾速措置。』乙巳，雷。丁未，上曰：『春令未深，雷已发声。』元凤奏：『此皆臣等燮调无补之咎。』上曰：『雷者，天之号令。自今号令之间加谨。』诏：『雷发非时，朕心惕然。考之《易》象，所当赦过宥罪。应诸郡有戾于罪者，非犯恶逆，自徒、流以下，并从减等行遣。内有囚禁淹延者，悉与斟酌，事事从恕疏决，监赃不及一千贯者蠲放。』戊申，上曰：『狱讼淹延，亦能上干阴阳之和，宜速与疏决。』元凤奏：『昨日恭睹御笔，考大《易》雷雨作解之象，举行赦宥。仰见陛下敬天爱民之意。』己酉，御后殿引见，吏部奏举改官四十三人。辛亥，以吴渊薨，辍视朝。
