二月戊午，诏贾似道升两淮安抚大使。庚申，御笔：『蜀境奏凯，而俞兴城下之捷尤为奇伟，朕甚嘉之。』兴，大忠之子也，向以父罪，聊示薄惩，今尽释前过，仍令制司具立功守将以下姓名来上，等第推赏。寻赐馀兴金带。上曰：『馀兴嘉定城下之捷甚伟，令尽释大忠之罪，不待其有请。』元凤奏：『陛下如此处置，直得御将赏功之道。』甲子，上曰：『春防是时，边头无报否?』元凤奏：『昨日淮阃言北兵见驻兵河南，不可不严为之备。』乙丑，右正言戴庆炣言：『数十年来，诸处戎帅专肆贪婪，逼令军人营运。愿申警戎帅，严与禁战军债。』从之。己巳，上曰：『李遇龙奏溪蛮为敌所有，欲为窥伺邕、宜之计，不可不预为之备。』元凤奏：『去秋已闻此说，屡令徐敏子体探虚实，严为防拓。又行下邕、宜险要去处屯兵，为不虞之备。』癸酉，上曰：『贾似道奏涡口筑城，上环荆山，下连淮岸，险要可据。』元凤奏：『已画旨令，便兴工。』
