三月庚寅，臣僚奏：『愿陛下近法孝宗，恐惧修省，以答天谴。不可以天变方弭为幸，而必期于天休之鉴佑。抚摩爱养，以保民命。不可以民瘼少瘳为喜，而必期于民俗之阜安。终始如一，悠久不渝，则八年灾异寇扰之变，未必不为后日重熙累治之基。』从之。辛卯，监察御史李日迈奏：『乞今后两学补试，并从朝廷选差试官。供给用度，依胄监事体，务革买帖冒名、计嘱私取之弊。』从之。乙未，臣僚奏：『乞戒饬中外，洗心涤虑，精白承休，以修职业，以振治功。如故习不悛，弹劾以闻。』从之。已亥，陈贵谊等乞痛革文弊，命学臣精选《淳熙格式》颁示四方。
