七月丙辰，都省言：『州县官最为近民，欲其不为民害，当先革贪欲。革其贪，当先养廉。今诸州县官廪给往往拖压，是驱之使贪也。监司、守令但知丰己，皇恤他人。迩者贪赃之罚既严于属吏，则养廉之俸合责于长官。』诏令御史台觉察，其有违戾，许属部官于离任日诉于台省，计赃论罪。壬戌，以董槐薨，辍视朝，赠少师，谥文清。庚午，以皇女周汉国公主薨，辍视朝五日，赐谥端孝。太史奏用七月癸未车驾临奠，驸马都尉杨镇奉辞凡五，乃从之。乙亥，广西经略朱禩孙申增筑四城，内包学舍，添置书院，乞照白鹿洞例锡名，仍置山长一员。诏以『宣城书院』为额。戊寅，诏文武臣陈乞叙复，令吏、刑部具元犯上于尚书省斟酌施行。辛巳，诏敕令所重修《吏部七司条法》。癸未，诏户部申严诸路州县苛取苗米之禁。甲申，有白气如疋练亘天。戊戌，李璮死。己亥，诏昨赐公主田，以秀丰庄二万九千有奇充影堂祭祀，馀悉拨隶淮东总所，以助军饷。壬子，以皇太子宫满岁，宫师以下各进一秩。
