九月壬寅朔，遗起居舍人李易赴韩世忠军前议事。宰相秦桧主罢兵，召湖北、京西宣抚使岳飞赴行在，遂命易见世忠谕旨。时淮西宣抚副使杨沂中还师镇江府，三京招抚处置使刘光世还池州，淮北宣抚判官刘锜还太平州，自是不复出师矣。丁未，杨政军同统领杨从仪劫金人于凤翔府城南寨［8］，获战马数百。戊申，金人复入西京。先是，李成数为河南府李兴所败，乞师于宗弼，得蕃、汉军数万。兴度众寡不敌，弃城去，寓治于永宁之白马山。已酉，上谕大臣曰：『朕昨面谕岳飞：凡为大将者，当以天下安危自任，不当较功赏。彼以功赏存心者，乃士卒所为。至于朝廷待大将，亦自有礼。如前日边报之初除诸将，便加师、保，岂必待有功乎?』时飞已至行在，故上训及之。庚戌，合祀天地于明堂，太祖、太宗并配。赦天下。癸丑，杨政军统制官杨从仪、邵俊、统领王喜败金人于汧阳。辛酉，临安府火，延烧省部仓库。
