14  | 甲戌，殿中侍御史张震、右正言袁孚同班入见，论宰相朱倬之罪。倬闻，亦丐免。乙亥，尚书左仆射、同中书门下平章事朱倬罢为提举江州太平兴国宫。制曰：『君子邦家之基，曾未闻于成效；元良天下之本，乃欲觊于畴庸。』翰林学士洪迈之词也。上出御札曰：『朕宅帝位三十有六载，荷天之灵，宗庙之福，边事浸宁，国威益振。惟祖宗传序之重，兢兢焉惧不克任，忧勤万机，弗遑暇佚，思欲释去重负，以介寿臧。蔽自朕心，亟决大计。皇太子贤圣仁孝，闻于天下，周知世故，久系民心。其从东宫，付以社稷，惟天所相，非朕敢私。皇太子可即皇帝位，朕称太上皇帝，退处德寿宫；皇后称太上皇后，应军国事，并听嗣君处分。朕以澹泊为心，颐神养志，岂不乐哉?尚赖文武忠良，同德合谋，求底于治。』诏，洪遵所草也。 |
