冬十月壬寅，诏讲筵权罢讲《礼记》。先是，王安石讲《礼记》，数难记者之非是，上以为然。是日，上因留安石坐，曰：『且欲得卿议论。』上曰：『唐太宗必得魏郑公，刘备必得诸葛亮，然后可以有为。』安石对曰：『陛下诚能为尧舜，则必有咎夔稷契；陛下诚能为高宗，则必有傅说。魏郑公、诸葛亮皆有道者所羞，何足道哉?』
