秋七月乙卯，权开封府推官张商英为提点河东路刑狱。商英先上书谓：『三年无改于父之道。今先帝陵土未乾，奈何轻议变更?』又尝移简苏轼欲作言事官，或得之以告吕公著，公著不悦，故出之。商英简苏子瞻云：『老僧欲住乌寺呵佛骂祖一巡，如何?』孙林过子瞻，窃得其简，示吕申公之子希纯，希纯白申公，申公不悦。出商英。壬戌，御札付中书省曰：『门下侍郎韩维尝面奏范百禄任刑部侍郎所为不正，辅臣奏劾臣寮当形章疏，明论曲直，岂但口陈，意欲无迹，何异奸谗?可罢门下侍郎，守本官分司南京，仍放辞谢。』吕公著即上疏言：『韩维素有时望，俟其有请，听使去位，以全君臣之大体。』甲子，诏韩维知邓州，然犹用前责辞。中书舍人曾肇封还韩维辞头，不报。乙丑，吕陶为京西转运副使，上官均为比部员外郎。戊辰，吕公著复论责韩维事。辛未，韩维为资政殿大学士、知邓州。
